Terms of Service
Last updated October 29, 2026
Family Photo Maze (familyphotomaze.com) lets a family build a private 3D library of their photos and share it with relatives by PIN. By making an account or using a library, you agree to these terms.
Free, paid for by donations
The service is free. There is no card, trial or subscription. Donations are voluntary, are not payment for anything, and are not refundable except where the law requires. Libraries stay up as long as donations keep the site running. If the site ever has to close, we will email library owners at least 30 days ahead so they can download their photos.
Your account
You need a working email address, or a Google account, to make an account. Keep your password and PINs to yourself; anyone with a library's link and a PIN can see that library. You are responsible for who you give PINs to.
Your photos
You keep all rights to the photos, notes and voice recordings you add. You give us permission only to store them and show them to the people in your library, which is what the service needs to work. We never use your photos in samples, advertising or marketing, and we never sell them.
Only add photos you have the right to share. Don't upload anything illegal, hateful, sexual involving minors, or that invades someone's privacy. We may remove content or close a library that breaks these rules.
Deleting things
Deleted photos go to the library's trash and are erased for good after 30 days. To delete your whole account and the libraries you started, email hello@familyphotomaze.com.
No guarantees
The service is provided as is. We work to keep it running and backed up, but we can't promise it will never be down or lose data, so keep your own copies of photos that matter. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you donated in the past 12 months.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell library owners by email.
